Graphic Design Today

Graphic Design has been almost entirely visual for a long time. It included imagery, typography, layout, use of white space and so forth.

Since the advent of the internet with everything digitized, designs became much richer. Now a designer gets to control visual effects that aren't static, like movies, sound, interactivity with a mobile devices or web sites, and even three-dimentional imagery and animation. It just got a lot more fun. It seems, "we're not in Kansas (with just print) anymore Toto."
